  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, salt, and baking powder until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, mix the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  4. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  6. Remove the brownies from the oven and drizzle the caramel sauce over the top while still warm. Sprinkle the pecans and chocolate chips.
  7. Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  8. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan on a wire rack for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
