Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, salt, and baking powder until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Remove the brownies from the oven and drizzle the caramel sauce over the top while still warm. Sprinkle the pecans and chocolate chips.
- Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan on a wire rack for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
